He is the patriarch of the macabre Addams Family, as created by cartoonist Charles Addams back in the 1930's and depicted in TV, cartoon, movies and comics ever since. The delightfully different Gomez Addams is known for his trademark moustache and pin-striped suit and his love of a good cigar. He may also be seen kissing the arm of his beautiful wife Morticia as she speaks French to him. This character has been played by many actors over the decades, including Jon Astin and Tim Curry and is an ideal choice for Halloween.
